Bringing hope and God's love through medicine, to many people who need it, is something that continues to be fulfilled day by day, to every clinic we go to. Seeing a smile of hope, where there was sadness or anguish, is what moves us to continue despite the adversities. “A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.” Proverbs 15:13 ESV

We praise God because of what is happening in this family. Approximately one month ago, Keiber (the baby) had an operation done on a tumor that he had on one of his testicles, and thank God, everything went very well. Today they came to the clinic in Las Tunas, thanking us for the support they have been given in the midst of this process. Despite the different trials that this family has gone through, they continue to trust completely in the Lord, knowing that He has control of everything. Let’s keep praying for this family, that God will keep taking control of some new laboratory exams that they have given Keiber and his father for supposed kidney stones.
Bringing God’s love to the poor, sick, and oppressed through medicine and God’s word; it creates hope for him who did not have it and a smile for the one who believed that there was no way out. This was the case for Isabel and his mom, Juana. This is their second time at the clinic in Chiníque and thank God we have been able to help them with medicine and even though Isabel (the son) has not had much improvement until today due to a headache, we continue to trust that God will work His will in his life. At the same time, this has helped to strengthen their faith. The faith that they both have is admirable despite the problems and limitations that they have. Let’s pray for this family.
